Who Am I?
My name is Joseph Isaiah Bennett, but I go by Joey. I've been using Blender, a 3D software to create environment art, architectural visualizations, and product renderings for the past five years. I'm a freelancer for the most part, but I also work for a few studios. I've worked for Theory Studios, Cedarworks, HypeKraft, and various other studios and individuals creating architectural renderings, and props for product design.
I'm currently looking for work as an environment artist with a movie or game studio. Preferably long term work. I'm still open to freelance work for now, but I work full time as a laborer right now, so if I can get full time employment elsewhere, that would be ideal. I'm not really interested in rev share projects unless it's for a studio that has a successful history in such projects. I'm also not dedicated to any software alone. I use Blender for modeling, Substance Painter for texturing, and Zbrush for sculpting, as my current go to software, but for a project where it would be beneficial to use the same software as my colleagues, I welcome a change in pace, With any luck, I can usually adapt to new workflows in about a week.
